How do I Rip Music to my 360 Hard Drive?

#1mAtRiXrIpOfFPosted 11/23/2013 7:59:53 AM
Which audio formats does 360 support?

Can I attach a USB devive to my 360 and copy the music? Does 360 support FAT32 or NTFS USB devices or both?

If it doesnt support USB then does the CD has to be a Audio CD or MP3 CD or does it support both?

I've only ever used Audio CDs to rip files to my hard drive. I don't think I've ever tried to rip files from my flash drive.

Think both disc types are supported but may be wrong about MP3 discs. I just plug my Zune into the USB and play it like that, so try doing that with a Flash drive first.

That is why you use a single CD-RW, and just keep burning and then erasing a single disc, instead of wasting numerous CD-Rs.

Or, you know, you could just stream the music, unless you are trying to use a feature that requires that the music be ripped to the system, such as some (early?) WWE titles.

Or you could use CDR's and use them in a car CD player, if you have a car.

I just plug my phone into the aux port in the car stereo and use Pandora.
