Up to recently, I was controlling media center with my old white Universal media center remote (with numbers), but I recently switched to a new smaller black one. With the old remote, if I wanted to jump to a specific time in a video file, I could just punch in the number (in mins) and press PLAY to get there. Now, since the black remote has combined the play and pause button, this no longer works, and the video just pauses.

Does anyone know another way to have media center jump to a specific time with the new remote?

Thanks

I have a white remote and didn't know you could just randomly punch in numbers and hit play to jump to a time? Wish I knew that sooner. So much streaming from my PC, then the connection is broken, I have to FF to where I was, which was like 30+ minutes, but even though it says it's FF32x it only seems like 2x.

yeah, it's really handy. You can understand my annoyance it doesn't seem to be possible with the black one.
