dishonored is a little dissapointing but deus ex is amazing.

Usually I prefer fiction over sci fi but dishonored feels shallow. I suppose itd nit a real rpg like deus ex but it just feels empty and there isnt many skills to upgrade for one play style.

Are you referring to DX HR or the original? Regardless, I have not finished Dishonored yet, but find it better than Human Revolution, personally. What exactly makes it feel shallow to you, just the limited skills?

I guess the skills and no dialog choice, I cant put out my finger on it. And yes im referring to deus ex I guess it feels more unique and some augments effect more then just gameplay, they help you interact with the environment better then in dishonored in my opinion butI havent played it that far in dishonored yet.
Yes human revlution.

are these games very similar? *more-so the newest deus ex
not tried deus ex in years. the original just wasn't my style, never been a fan of RPG and found it lopsidedly RPG>shooter/action.

however i enjoyed dishonored, but agree; it was quite short and limited (felt to me like they were going grand with options and playstyles at the beginning, then kinda stopped and went linear about midway. for whatever reason *likely money)

i've not even looked into deus ex, but if they're comparable, i may give the series another shot as i found some of the freedom of dishonored quite enjoyable

They are somewhat similar, although you get more space in Dishonored to tackle stuff.

Both offers a few ways tackling missions, stealth is recommended, but can be done without most of the time if you choose to.
