I was just thinking about the people who lost all their data to the new update. I can't imagine losing 165 hours to Dark Souls 2, two hundred to Skyrim, countless hundreds in other RPG's / racing games.

I think if I were to lose my data, I'd just buy an Xbox One.

Why buy a new 360 when you can reformat your hard drive?

No i would just restart it but having to grind back to 100lv in GTA 5 would take a while.

No I would start over. Nothing looks interesting on the Xbox One.

no

I got over the "keeping all of my saves" obsession a long time ago when I realized when I replayed the game I just started over anyways.

Been there twice.

The first time was in the beggining months (about 6 or 7) of having a 360
The second time I had a memory unit with everything backed up, although I lost all of my OG XBOX dlc forever. :(

Things like this happening are the reason every 360 owner should have a USB drive, and once every few days copy all your saves for games you're currently playing over to the USB drive. Older games you're not actively playing won't have to be recopied every time, only the current stuff.

Some games won't let you copy, only move, so if you lose those, you're kinda screwed, but there could be a way around that. Insert the USB drive, point the game toward it, save, remove the USB drive, and save again on the main HDD.
