Couple of Xbox Live and Xbox gift card deals at Target

#1fiasco86Posted 4/16/2014 7:09:20 PM
$1.50 off $15 Xbox gift card.
Free year of Gold with purchase of Forza for Xbox One.

Only the Gold deal is in the weekly ad, but the Xbox gift card is advertised in store (though I only saw the discounted price advertised at the checkout stand -- not in the electronics section).

Thanks!

I think Bing is offering a month of Gold as well if you sign up with them. Not sure how long that lasts, however, if anyone is interested.

So I pay 60 dollars for a game, and I get 60 dollars worth of XboxLive gold?

Can you use that on Xbox360? Also how much does Forza trade in at gamestop? Hell just buy Forza if you need a year of gold, and trade the game in at gamestop. Sounds great.

That's actually not a bad idea if the trade-in value is pretty good. And Xbox Live memberships are no different between 360 and One.

Gamestop's website quoting Forza 5 at $28.60.

If you have the powerups reward card you get $30.80

So a year of gold, and a 28 dollar credit at gamestop :D. I'm so doing this.

Just a warning the xbox deal is with the purchase of the xbox one bundle. Many have gotten away with just the game and getting the 12 months free but also a lot of been told no.

Not according to the tag on the hook with the subscription cards.

If you have a redcard, you'll also get an extra 5% off Forza.

Maybe it was already mentioned here, but there's also this Xbox promotion going on:

https://xbox.promo.eprize.com/getthemost/

If at a store you spend $15+ on Xbox credit or Xbox Live Gold you can get a $5 Xbox credit code e-mailed to you. You need to take a picture of your receipt, and upload it to that link (more details are given as you go through the process at that link). No matter how much you spend past $15 a single receipt is only good for one $5 rebate. If you plan on buying more than $15 credit it's best to buy multiple $15 cards in separate transactions. You can get up to ten $5 rebates.

Even though the Target gift cards are on sale their $15 cards have already been shown to work with this promotion. I got my rebate for one early this morning. So you can basically get $20 credit for $13.50.

I think the Target deal is only good for this week, and rebate deal is good until around the end of May (or while supplies last).

Thanks for mentioning that. I was going to but I couldn't be bothered to type it out last night.
