Should I play them all?

Thanks in advance.

I only liked the first one. It doesn't mean you won't like the others though. Well, hope I've been of some help, good luck.

I also only enjoyed the first one. 2 & 3 aren't bad, but they dumbed down the horror to appeal to a wider audience.

Good to know, I do like a scare factor somewhat. Anyone know if it does splitscreen and if it's any good?

I really enjoyed the first two games and I highly recommend them. Both games have plenty of atmosphere and good gameplay with a nice rogues gallery of different Necromorph enemies. The games also give you a bunch of interesting weapons to use that differ from the standard weapon types in other games.

I didn't enjoy DS3 much and it's the only game in the series I didn't complete.

I might grab 1 cheap, if it's not split screen it's ok. It always looked ok but I quickly was turned off by halo and thought this was the same idea when it came out but after reading a little it sounds decent.

None of the games have split-screen co-op.

One is great, I felt like it was better than RE 5 at the time. Two had a good story if I remember, it's more of the same. Never played three. Co-op turned me off

DS1 was scarier in jumpscares and other ways...DS2 (My 2nd favorite game ever) was the perfect blend of horror and action. i still pretend DS3 was never made.
