So I couldn't re download saints row 4 and started talking to MS support about it, coming from Australia it seems that the government has banned saints row 4 for good at the moment and there was no way I could get a refund or anything as my profile is now a new Zealand profile.

So we went through and tried all the alternatives and decide that the only way to fix this was to get me to buy it in NZ for $69.95 and I thought he was being funny before he said that they will refund the entire amount immediately.

The dude was nice as an I even called him a girl because his name was lorde and that was funny.

Not only that but the dude game me to no questions asked refunds (everyone is supposed to get one).

TL;DR: Microsoft support is second to none imo

Have you had any good or bad experiences with support or any good stories to tell?

numerous, 7?, different horrible experiences, enough that i'd think you guys shills when you claim positives, that is if i didn't have the experience with many of you being long-term regs

so you can play the NZ copy of the game now? awesome.
fortunatly i never had any problems like that, most of my problems were technical stuff and redeeming a code once. the service was always helpful and nice. all in all their service seems to be really competent.

Yeah it's the world wide version with different achievements too so I'm happy and all my sr4 dlc works with it so I'm even more happy.

Yeah that's why I said some, I'm sure some workers are just awful and unhelpful but this was my first time not talking to support via twitter and it lasted a few hours which was good.

I was taken back and surprised by how good he was haha.

They're awesome. Had an issue installing my Assassin's Creed 4 disc on Xbox One, so they gave me enough credit to buy AC4 digitally and an extra $15 to buy an arcade game for the inconvenience.

They were awesome until they completely refused to honor the warranty on my Gears Xbox, which failed in something like 3 ways. Oh, they were willing to send me a smaller hard drive when my HDD failed. Thank but no thanks.

My interment provider on the other hand, had many a long conversation/whine/moan with them. But that's now sorted too, only took three years.

I was given 20 bucks in credit because I complained about games from the indie marketplace needing a connection to play. I have no problem with them.
