Strong as in emotionally, physically, a great character whom have to carry a big burden or duty, etc.

Wondering what the results of this poll will be with gamers populating this board from all walks of life.
I hate games with bad game design

How many video game females are single parents that have overcome addiction and have raised multiple bright, polite and compassionate kid/s all on their own? None that I'm aware of. I know a women in real life that has done just that plus she herself suffers from Type 2 diabetes. On top of all that, her father just recently passed away(colon cancer) and when I last saw her, before I had a chance to say anything, she asked me how I was doing. No video game character can top that.
Not taking Gamefaqs seriously since 2004. Gamefaqs mods are a joke.

If women in video games acted like the majority of them do in real life, I probably wouldn't play video games...

I know plenty of strong women. It takes strength to hold your self upside down on a pole as you slide down.

Trust me, I tried.
A piece of hardware is only dead when the company gives up on it. P.S, Indie shovelware doesn't count as support.

In real life, they are called people rather than characters.

As for the question, I guess it depends on how you define strong.

Physical strength = video games. Emotional strength = real life.
