I prefer to make my own character any day I rarely buy games without some kind of character customization anymore

I might give a **** about the protagonist, for one. I don't really understand the position of anyone against it--you can stick with the default and you lose nothing.

Sticking mainly to huge sandbox games that take the longest to completely play and are among the best games ever made isn't really that limiting.
