I buy more games than what I can finish. Is this normal?

Yes, it happens to a lot of people. If you want to feel better, just go to Backloggery. There's always someone whose backlog is way worse than yours. Unless you're that guy who has like 4000 titles in his backlog. Then maybe not.

What's the point of buying anymore games if you a person has a backlog of 4000 titles and will never play all those games? Unless you are one of those who just likes to have it and stare at it on your shelf for decorative purposes?

Gamers truly are the worst shop-a-holics. -_-"

It's better to leave games on store shelves until you have time to play them. At least, by that time, there should be a discount.

I do that all the time. I have a crapload of games that need to be played but never seem to find the time to complete them.

I never used to do this until I became a pc gamer. Now I stock up on sale items when Steam has them. For consoles though I never do this.

I have been gaming for a long time and usually never bought another game until I finish the one i'm playing. Now with this generation it seems that i have fallen into that trap. It's crazy, it's like i'm more of a collector than a gamer, but i'm truly a gamer.

Saw that on the PS2 board. It's not quite the same as a backlog, though, since they're all sealed and presumably staying that way.

Unless you wait TOO long, then you'll have to pay a premium for some games on Ebay if you want them in decent condition.
