To me, every game, no matter how crappy/trashy is art. But both Braid/LIMBO aims for a more contemporary style and look of 'art' at least according to the general public. Which is all about minimalism, 'more than meets the eye' story mechanic and an openly interpretable gameplay/story.

Limbo was 2 hours long, no story, slow gameplay, great atmosphere and was $15 , I actually picked Limbo over Shadow complex and wish I could get a refund.
I was playing the pc version and they had a 45 minute challenge for the whole game. I beat it in 42
