I'm looking to upgrade my PS3 fat 40GB, I'm thinking of getting something around the 160 GB range. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't settle for a 160 GB if I were you. You can get a Western Digital Scorpio Blue 500 GB HDD for $60 (or even $50 if you look hard enough). It is definitely worth it as I have a massive datalog on my PS3 and still have more than half the HDD; trust me, my HDD is loaded with content.

Mmm, I heard that the blues increase load times because they go idle when not in use and you have to wait for them to start back up. Is that true?
