Problem with SixAxis

#1Tamarisk_greenPosted 7/8/2011 10:49:10 PM
I've completely beaten Heavy Rain many times before, but I decided to start a new file for fun. However, I am having a ton of trouble in one area I didn't have any problems before. In "The Bear" where you have to quickly tilt the controller, it is not responding consistently. After a suggestion at another topic I created I tried deleting the game data and reinstalling it, but the problem is still there.

As I have not had problems here before, could there be some issue with the controller? Is there a video that shows what movement has to be used so I can check if I am doing it right?

try a different controller, the sixaxis feature is probably busted.

WHAT!? I got this system new in February, and the controller can get messed up that soon?

Are there some third-party controllers that are more reliable that the Sony controllers?

Sony brand is the most reliable. So you have a malfunctioning controller. You just got unlucky. It has nothing to do with Sony being unreliable. Sony makes some of the most dependable if somewhat overpriced pieces of tech on the market.

Hmm...

Okay, I'll give up on that new save for now and start looking for a new controller at a reasonable price.
