I have a 32 inch vizio 1080p tv.

My tv has preset settings such as "standard", "movie", and "game".

On almost all games on my 360 i use the standard setting because the game setting is too bright and the movie setting too dark.

One alot of ps3 games, I also use the standard setting.

HOWEVER, on certain games such as RDR and Alpha protocol the games on the standard setting looked rough and jagged.

On these games, I changed to the movie setting and made the games look better.

Can someone explain this to me?

Is it a ps3 thing or a tv thing?

That's your problem right there. Those games and a lot of games on the PS3 particular have aliasing issues.

Oh okay, i figured it was a ps3 thing because i have only noticed this on multiplats, and not exclusives.
