Thinking about getting this later today since it's on sale for 20$ off. Going to get alan wake too. Is it a pretty good game or not?

Gotta finish Nier first though.
I'm so broke I can't even pay attention.

I would wait & rent Alan Wake. I just recieved it from gamefly on Friday afternoon, and beat it on Saturday afternoon. I would definately play it, just don't think it's worth buying.
When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

Hmmmm, well I don't think we have gamefly in canada though but if alan wake is that short I might wait a bit.

Shadows of the Damned is awesome and definitely worth at least playing through once, but unless you like replaying single player games with medium length campaigns I would just rent it.
Why go to the park and fly a kite, when you can just pop a pill?

Shadows od the damned is a great game, however because there isn't much replay value I would say it's the perfect rental. You can blow through the game in an evening or two without any incentive to go through again except for different difficulties.

Side note: We do have services like gamefly in Canada, such as
PSN: Nasaniru

Bleh 18$ per month for a rental service. I guess it's not that bad but I personally will replay a game 2-3 times over the life of the ps3. Probably again later once they can emulate it on a pc. So it's almost cheaper to just buy it since it's on sale.
