Not really, I mean yeah the first level has better detail but get to that one level where you're battling across a flying creature. In the arcade it is amazing but on Genesis they didn't have the power to make the level work as well and it looks very mundane. Also stuff like the final boss encounter are amazing in the arcade while on Genesis the best they could animate is he walks through a door. I didn't know about the arcade version until I saw someone on thatguywiththeglasses.com who was talking about how much better the arcade version was. After that I played it and it really was so much better than the Genesis version of my childhood.
