best buy pre order 5 questions

#1Legacy5Posted 7/14/2011 10:21:31 AM
can anyone tell me if Saints Row The Third is on the list because i have seen 2 different lists on the Best Buy website and one has it on there and the other doesnt.

how do you put the money down on it? do you pay for the games with a credit card or are you able to pay for it with cash if you decide to pick it up at the store?

thanks for any help.

Your best bet is to call Best Buy and ask them. I don't work for Best Buy so I can't help you.

From what I understand, it works exactly like Gamestop pre-ordering.

If all five are games you'd buy new anyway, it is a great deal. $40/per game. You could list each on eBay and profit that way too.

where are you getting this $40 per game thing? you dont get $100 cash back you get a gift card which you will have to spend at best buy only

lets look at it this way

game 1 =$65
game 2 = $65
game 3 = $65
game 4 = $65
game 5 = $65

thats $325 so far then with the $100 gif card you buy 2 more games

game 6 = free ($35 remaining in gift card)
game 7 = $30 (you used the gift card and pay the remaining in cash)

thats $355 for 7 games which is about $50 per game, and this is for just pre ordering games you wont even know if the game will be good or not

bad deal

Well seeing as how there's 5 games that I was planning on getting anyway that are on the list, I'm getting a $100 gift certificate for free. I'll take $100 for free.

Good deal.

Hell, even if you're iffy about one, it'd still be worth it to get ~$35 for free. Free money is free money.

bad deal? lol. first of all there is a bonus for spending 150 on gaming that stacks, plus they will price match games that drop within the first month. so we are talking a decent deal here.

I would say it's not a "Great" deal, in particular because it's a gift card as opposed to 'cash back.'
