It's called PS3lightsfix I have ylod and I'm looking at all the options before having to buy a new ps3 and was just wondering has anyone had it?

I can't recommend something that the owners manual tells you not to do.

Out of warranty by about 2 years so sony aren't going to be covering me at all

I would think videos on youtube would be better. Not only do they tell you how to do it, but you can also see them do it.

There are some great videos on youtube on how to fix it. I've been thinking about getting my fat PS3 fixed this way since I hear a lot of stories of peoples PS3's dying not soon after getting them back from Sony. Seeing as how I also have a slim I'm in no hurry to repair it at the moment.
