i just purchased a 2TB external usb HDD drive, i wanted to use it for half general pc storage, and the other for videos i could play on ps3, so i put in a partition, one half ntfs, and the other half exfat, i put a couple videos on that half, plugged it into ps3, but it didn't recognize it, anyone know why. anyone got a fix, or advice, thanks for any help

ExFat? Is that different from FAT32? I've never heard of that before.

I do know that it has to be FAT32 for the PS3 to recognize it.

*Edit* Just googled ExFat and I'm pretty sure that's your problem. FAT32.
This is my witty signature.
