Risky move, the video store doesn't let me download anything on my US account, so I don't want to risk dropping money on something that might not work!

Oh wow, I didn't think they region locked things like that. Then again, that may be an issue with things being in formats for NTSC versus PAL. No clue. All I can say is DirectTV and the NFL really really like money, so chances are they could account for it.

I'd suggest looking for an FAQ pertaining to the Sunday Ticket. I'm sure there is an official one that may have that answer. If not, you can certainly find contact information and send an email query.
