Things i'd like to know:

are there cutscenes, or is it pure 2d fighting?
How is the story mode?

Basically, convince me to get this game please ! :D

Story mode is very storyish, there are cutscenes and such. Covers MK1, 2 & 3, however it's an alternate timeline. Very cool story mode I think.

have you ever liked mortal kombat?

do you like lots of kontent?


If you answered yes to any of those, yes you should buy it. How much is it now? Like, around $30?

Story mode is outstanding, this sets the benchmark for fighting games in this aspect.

It has all of the other modes you would expect too, arcade, tag and extra modes like 300 challenge tower, you can also co-op with a friend through the tag mode ladder.

The game has plenty of content and unlockables to keep you busy for a long time.

It is awesome, you owe it to yourself.

The story is pretty much the 2nd best story mode in a fighter you ever play and the gameplay is just top-notch.

Game is very entertaining. Story mode is amazing.
Offline or single player content is very good compared to the rest of the other fighting games available.

Just don't expect the online to be good.

it's a good game, i am just terrible at fighters and got rid of it. i still have the kombat pass since i never used it. if you can get it cheap and are ok with spending some expendable money, go for it to try it out.
