- I am unimpressed. Feels like they just re-skinned some of the old environments.

- It's no longer as linear as before.


Can anyone confirm if you could switch who's walking on the screen? I don't like staring at Noel.

The highlight of the trailer was showing you a map that wasn't a straight line. I guess SE realised that XIII's tube was awful.

If you want a good laugh, check out the coverage of FFXIII-2 in this month's Qore. The way they talk about FFXIII as if it was good is hilarious.

No, you're not, because you actually have to use a bad game like FFXIII as an example.

I don't know what to make of this to be honest. They really didn't show much of anything, and it still looks like the game has Corridor Vision. By that I mean, you can see a ton of landscape, but only actually move through small, preset paths through the landscape. I honestly don't like that design.

what annoys me is that this game looks like its still on rails
^if you see something from the top of a cliff, you arent able to jump down to get it, but instead you'll need to follow a path to reach that area

it's the same problem with ff14 (if they took off the restrictions the game would have been so much better)
^for example if im on one side of a ledge and want to drop down to a lower level, i need to find a slope that allows me to do so... i couldnt just walk off the ledge

its just frustrating trying to find a cave with a hole in the middle just to reach a lower level (and that area is HUGE, it would take more than 2hours to find that cave with the path)

It's really sad you gotta come in and defend it all the time, like people are bullying SE and FFXIII.

Fact is that FFXIII was ridiculously lacking in non-hallway areas and exploration, that this time they 'say' (we'll see) if FFXIII-2 actually has "MULTIPLE PATHS TO EXPLORE", that they actually have to advertise it!!!!!!! They're advertising it! LOLOLOLOL hahaha
