They could just put Legends on PSN because, you know, I and probably the rest of the fanbase would actually buy it. But apparently that's too much work, so lets just redraw all the Mega Man X sprites instead ...

They can put whoever they want in whatever game they want. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean their trolling. I know it comes as a huge shocker to most people on these boards, but the game companies are required to do everything we demand.
They're probably sick and tired of the mud slinging. Personally, I'd put dummy data in the game so all the hackers could leak "proof" that the most popular characters not in the game were pulled.
