MotsuPosted 7/20/2012 3:20:38 PM | Nope. Next gen won't be but I know it will have heavy enough focus for me NOT to be interested. --- Sailor Moon returns 2013! O_o |
true_gamer80Posted 7/20/2012 3:21:28 PM | Im willing to bet those saying no, will sure as hell end up not only embracing it but supporting it, Im against going full DD but truth be told, I love gaming and would be almost impossible to just dismiss next gen. --- The Wicked Streets of Chicago- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjpU8OpEeLw |
SuperShadowAcePosted 7/20/2012 3:22:00 PM | Nope, then there would be no reason not to become all PC (except for certain Atlus games) --- http://ofnoobsandmen.com/ <----Good comic Game contact information in profile. |
poopninjamvc3mkPosted 7/20/2012 3:25:07 PM (edited) | I would not embrace it. I'd just be exclusive to handhelds and/or PC(even though that's basically 100% digital in a way) and if that doesn't work out because they go 100% digital too, I don't enjoy the games, or etc then I'm just not gonna be gaming anymore. Probably find a new hobby and stick with the classics and look for gems I have missed these past gens.
Hell I was playing Missile Command the other day and I was enjoying the hell out of it.

PS2112Posted 7/20/2012 3:29:55 PM | iPutinWORK posted...The topic reads:
"Would you EMBRACE it?" (Most people with sense would answer "No" to this, I think.)
...but I think TC's question actually is:
"Would you SUPPORT it?" (i.e., still buy games and play them, even if they gritted their teeth, kicked and screamed. I think most true gamers would still support the industry, even if they didn't embrace such a change. This. I love playing games, I'm not going to let the delivery method get in the way of that. I wouldn't be ecstatic, but if my only choice, I'd deal. I'd bet most people here would too. --- Light is but a farewell gift from the darkness to those on their way to die. -- The Boss, MGS3 |
scottycermPosted 7/20/2012 3:30:12 PM | I guess I wouldn't mind it so long as they made load times non-existant and internet connection speeds were even faster. One of the biggest qualms I have about digital distribution is that I know sometimes I'll be waiting upwards of three hours for games. Unless they find a way to fix this, I'll stick with discs. --- Genesis does what Nintendon't. |
Evel138Posted 7/20/2012 3:30:18 PM | Won't be a problem for me personally. I already own nothing more than the digital rights to a **** load of games, movies, music, etc.
