And I would be willing to bet that most of them haven't even played the game. I got it at midnight last night and I'm having a blast with it. There's no way it deserves Superman 64 scores. I've got to be the only old school gamer that has no problem with the recent Resident Evil games.
No, I don't really have any problems with them, either. They're fun to play with a friend or brother.
Metacritic used to be good - used to be. Now, all it is once user reviews get released is a ton of people who haven't played the game who go on there to give it 0-score ratings with nonsensical arguments or "anti-hype" they hear about. Mind you, it also has the exact opposite end of the spectrum on there, too, but given that it got a 0.1 score the day it came out?
Nothing's that bad. Even World of Warcraft, which I personally view to be the bane of society despite never playing it, doesn't even deserve that score. And people say that gamers nowadays aren't entitled, whiny, complaining jerks? Here's proof showing that some are.
The majority opinion is that RE 6 is not a very good game. Why can't you guys just accept that?
Because there's no way "not a very good game" would get a less than 1.0 score on launch day. That's a physical impossibility - that means, however it's weighted, that more people gave it a zero score - a literally broken, unplayable game at all - than gave it a score higher than 0. That's got all the likelihood of gravity suddenly reversing.
Its ok to dislike the game but that is just childish right there.
To be fair, so are most of the positive reviews. Anyone that takes anything on that site seriously is a fool. --- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdE_VnA4_3I&feature=related http://i.imgur.com/ueSFG.gif
