game was excellent, why did people hate it?
#2NesterJPosted 10/4/2012 9:11:56 PM
because it was terrible

Because of no inverted camera control. I wont play a game without inverted.

Same reason they hated SH4, it wasn't a straight copy paste of the first three.

I liked it. It was fun and scary but near the end it all just turned into the movie Hostel.
And now for something completely the same.

No inverted camera control is discriminating against older gamers. The game was also terrible.

It felt like a rip-off of its own series. Rather than craft a unique flavor like every other SH game did, Double Helix opted to simply decide everybody's SH is the same thing, with nurses and pyramid heads, etc. 1-4 and Downpour are the only decent games in the series.

(I know some people like Shattered Memories, but at best it's not very supernatural. It also has a twist so awful it belongs in the "worst 3 plot twists in gaming" category)
