I don't remember if I played 12 or 7 first, but they are both up there in my favorites.

FF1 and it's not my favorite. I liked it at the time and I still like it but it's not even close to my favorite.

Final Fantasy I was the first I ever played, but my favorite is either 7 or 8. 4, 6 and Tactics are high up there, too. 5, 9, and 11 have very honorable mention.

either tactics or 8 but I completed tactics while I not sure what happened to my copy of FF8. As for my fav, it got to be Tactics.

8 and 4 and no and yes.

I played 8 without really realizing what I was doing or playing and I was cheating the hell out of it to look at the cool summons and stuff. But I was really young back then.

When I played 4 it was serious, I knew what Final Fantasy is, I was much older and more able to understand the game mechanics and the story.
And it was my first english game, improving my english grade like crazy and encourage me to improve even further. And look where I am now.
For that alone FF4 has a special place in my heart.

2 on SNES (4 everywhere else)

It's probably my favorite because I remember wanting to finish that game because the story was so out there at the time for me. It was also the 1st RPG I really got into though Dragon Warrior was the 1st RPG I ever played.
