Saw the Collections coming out soon for both of these series and want to know if they're worth giving a shot.

What are your guys' thoughts about these two series?

I found Killzone 3 to be the best FPS I've played in a while, definitely better than any recent Halo's or CoD's. Haven't played Resistance though.

Yes they are both worth getting.
The Killzone series is the best imo. Amazing,especially the 3rd.
As for Resistance,it is a good series but one that never really found its place.
I loved the first Resistance.The 2nd was ok,nothing more,nothing less. The 3rd game was back on the right track again and is a great game.

you shoot in them by going 'pewpewpewpewpewpewpewpewpew pew pew', and that is about the jist of both games. go with a non-shooter if you feel like playing a good game.

I doubt anyone bought KZ2 (or any FPS for that matter) for campaign/story mode. The community is and will be dead even with the new release. Don't get it.

l buy FPSs for Campaign, Online modes get boring, and KZ2 Online isn't dead... but, most players are high level so might not be very enjoyable at first.

Killzone 2 and 3 are both very active online, and the best 2 fps games of this generation.

Resistance 3 is pretty good.
