Yeah this. If Darkstalkers Resurrection sells well it might convince CAPCOM to make Dark Stalkers IV.

I remember an article back before MvC3 came out and the creator of Dark Stalkers pitched to doing a 4th game but CAPCOM said there would be no interest. So hopefully Resurrection sells well so we can see a proper sequel.

None of the series need reboots, actually no video game series needs reboots. Its just a lazy way game designing since writers today don't know how to continue where the last entry left off. DmC and Castlevania both didn't need one and neither does another other game need one. (I like Lord of Shadows, but I wished they had took the time to tie it in with the original Castlevania series. LOS' story was kind of awful and crushed my heart as a Castlevania fan, but the gameplay, graphics, etc was very good.)

Heh, I could write a story for any franchises that has ever existed and if I can do it, then I'm pretty sure game designers can too, but the fact that companies have little faith in their employees, they decide to take the lazy route and hire Western companies to make reboots for them. Resident Evil doesn't need a reboot, it just needs to take a two year break or something and let some other Capcom franchises shine.

I would of vote for onimusha, because it's an awesome series, but DoD pretty much closed the series for that game.

But now i voted for mega man, because we haven't seen an X series since the PS2 days, and i want megaman X on the ps3....with online and possibly co-op/mmorpg style
