1. Super Metroid - It's my favorite game ever, so of course it'd be one of the games I choose.
2. Resident Evil 4 - Never grown tired of this game. I've probably beaten it close to 200 times plus NG+ allows for a lot of fun mixing and matching IMO.
3. GTA: San Andreas - Open world, tons of things to do and fun to be had.

Mirror's Edge
Dark Could... I don't know if I should pick one or two but definitely one of them.
X-Com enemy unknown

Wait maybe I should X-com enemy unknown in there it's got alot of replay value and content but I have only played the demo, yeah I'll swap it out for Demon Souls since I've already played that to death (same with Mirror's Edge but I can play that past death)

That's easy...

Earthbound (SNES) Best RPG ever created.
Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening (SNES)
Final Fantasy VII (PS)

The three best games since the original Mario Bros. The newer systems can't even touch them. Earthbound was creative and colorful, with an extremely tight story line. Link's Awakening was a fun simple adventure game that I have replayed many times. And finally, Final Fantasy VII had the of the best stories of any game ever created, not to mention the Materia system, that was ingenious and I wish they would bring it back in a future installment. I wouldn't mind another round of a game with so many twists and possibilities to come out on the PS3 or above..,

The day GTA comes to the 3DS is the day I will eat my hat.
The heartache and pain, I don't know if I can face it again.

P'easy.

Guild Wars 2, so I'd have something that I could play with friends and do as much or as little with as a want.
Final Fantasy IX; a game I feel wonderfully at home with, and love and can enjoy every single second of gameplay. Also covers my story needs.
And finally, ICO. Something beautiful that provides solitude, and a real retreat from reality.

Think I've got all my bases covered.
