How sony can win next generation

#1readyaimfailPosted 11/15/2012 10:32:48 AM
Have 8th + of ram
Have 500gb with upgradeable option
Have a faster processor
Don't split the ram
Have VRAM
Make it as small as possible.
Put a screen where the ps button is on the controller
Bundle a move with it.
tidy up the xmb into a Linux style os.

Sell it for $200 standard.

No gimmick, no bad console, cheap price = win.

Games though they need games.

As long as they turn a profit, I could not give a rat's hindquarters what place they finish in the console wars. That goes for all three console manufacturers. I just don't want to see any die.

first of all, how can you say "no gimmick" when you said it needs a screen where the ps button is, and to bundle it with move?

second of all, 8gigs of ram isnt going to happen for consoles for a long time, and making it as small as possible is just asking for overheating problems

fail topic is fail

EDIT: also, $200? never gunna happen

Secure some good exclusives (or time exclusive), work with third party developers, advertise the system and games, and release a reasonably price system. Sony can't rely on past success anymore. They screwed that up with the PS3. They need to return to the basic and have the same attitude they had with the PS1. Otherwise the PS4 could very well be the last Sony's console we will ever see.

if rumors coming out of devs are to be believed, the new PS system has either 8 gigs or 16 gigs of RAM.......
