"Why do people keep saying the PS3 passed the 360? The 360 is still in 2nd by probably a million or more."

This could be why, perhaps. Im researching this myself further

Microsoft said that the 360 was at 70 million in September. Sony just said that the PS3 shipped 70 million. Did the 360 not sell during October? Or the first half of November?

Had the 360 shipped 70 million in September? There's a chance they haven't had to ship too many more due to how slow they sell.

Yeah this article was like Ps3 is still a month behind worldwide.

Thats still good though 360 had a whole year head start. And cost less the entire gen.

Not to mention had a cheapo HDD-less 'Arcade' version on the market, which counts as a sale.

PS3 has cost less since 2009.

The 16GB PS3 is currently half the price of a 4GB 360 in Europe.

Put this in your sig if you agree - "probably because mw2 felt like a real sequel and uncharted 2 was more of an expansion pack"

Ok, this is a complete lie.
First, there's no 16 GB PS3 in Europe. There's a 12 GB.

Second, an example:

PS3 12 GB = 239,00

http://www.plaisio.gr/Gaming/Consoles/Sony-PS3/Sony-PS3-Super-Slim-12GB.htm

Xbox 360 4 GB = 179,00

http://www.plaisio.gr/Gaming/Consoles/Microsoft-XBOX360/Microsoft-XBOX360-4GB-RKB-00010.htm

PS3 is way more expensive in Europe and Japan.

Seriously, how desperate can people get to spout such entire lies?
