Max HDD Size Allowed?

Technically, the limit is governed by the FAT32 format that the PS3 uses, which allows a max volume size of 2tb. The largest capacity HDD that will fit in the PS3 is 1tb at the moment, though.

PS3 doesn't use fat32. It uses it's own custom file system type which has no known limit in total volume size or file size. It can only recognized fat32 formatted external drives.

And if you hear as the warm night falls. The silver sound from a time so strange. Sing to me, sing to me.

If that's the case, my mistake. I know it applies to external drives, though.
