Framerate does affect a game's speed a lot.

Not if it's designed at 30FPS, which is my point. This whole game was designed with fast paced combat and 30FPS in mind.

If a 60FPS game is being run at 30FPS, then it will affect the speed of the game because it's halved. But when a game is 30 to begin with, it's not running slower.

TC IS A NOOB..

all the great action games of all time are 60 fps for a reason... IT DOES MATTER.. slow down sucks, there isnt nearly as many enemies or action going on in one screen b/c of 30 fps.. i dont care what garbage you spew next your wrong.. demo is ok but subpar for its genre

TC's probably played more games than you kiddo. It doesn't matter and this is coming from a veteran of gaming.

a "veteran" of gaming trying to say frames per second does not matter? you arent fooling anybody...

It's all abut the frame data. The top fighting games are not designed at 30fps because of this and Devil May Cry was designed as an action game that plays like a fighting game. Anything less is fail no matter how it's designed to play within the 30fps because the concept is still to play out as a fighting game with the combo system.

That wasn't my point though, doesn't matter if the game is designed to be at 30 fps. The point I was making is that it is indeed slower than 60fps which is what the originals were, 60fps is faster and smoother than 30.

Therefore DMC is slower compared to the originals. I mean in the end you basically agree that FPS does indeed affect a game's speed so I'm not understanding the point of this debate.

Here, save yourself $58 + tax.

comparing to trash like Superman64 now I know you are trolling just stop with the stupidity

Sounds like I hit a sore spot. Does it make you mad that DmC will go down in the annals of videogame history as a terrible game?

At least Superman 64 doesn't have dialogue written by a third-grader with Down syndrome.

Rising runs circles around this game's fluidity, just play both demos back-to0back and tell me there's not a huge difference
