Wow, I read most of that. Pretty sad way to go, but... eww at the headline near the bottom of the guy whose wife's head they found in the freezer and body parts cooking on the stove. He clearly got the wrong impression when she said she'd like him to eat her.

ROFL!! You like living on the wild side, huh?

I've played Skyrim for 15 hours straight, and I thought that was crazy.

I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book.

Genuinely struggle going any more than about 4 hours in one sitting.

I played Demon's Souls for 7 hours straight once and felt like dying right after.

I'm pretty sure that those that voted 48 hours didn't read the the poll clearly. Over that time, they must have taken some break or at the very least fallen unconscious long enough for it to constitute one.

I voted 9-12 but thinking about it, that might still be pushing it. There's always breaks from the game but the intent that I think qualifies it as a game marathon is that you get right back to playing once you're done with whatever it was that you were doing (Which is usually a bathroom break).

But yeah, on a weekend I can easily play for 4-5 hours straight without breaks. That is, if the game is good enough and if my body allows for it. After that, I usually take a break for 1 or 2 hours (Proper lunch/dinner, going to the store, taking the dog for a walk) before resuming play.

I'm sorry, what were you saying?
I got distracted by the story about the woman trying to smother a man to death with her Double Ds
