Seeing as you like Mass Effect and Deus Ex, you might want to look into Alpha Protocol. IMO, it has a much better dialogue system and does choices and consequences more extensively than both. The combat and stealth are a bit rough round the edges though. Just make sure you level up at least one weapon type (pistols are great, particularly for bosses) or you might have a hard time. The reviews aren't great (64.57% on GameRankings for the PS3 version), but if you like games with dialogue choices and lots of consequences for your actions, and if you like a modern spy story/vibe, then it should be right up your street.
The PS3 version seems to be the worst of the three, however. In saying that, it's the version I have, and I haven't encountered any major issues. The most serious issue I came across was a crash when turning the TV on in the game, but it happens very rarely (it has only happened to me once), and you never need to turn the TV on anyway. It doesn't really add anything to the game. Other than that, there isn't really anything else I can think of other than minor graphical glitches, which Mass Effect and DX both have (e.g. Mass Effect's texture pop-in).
