So, is All-Stars good?

Worth the $60 or is my money better spent elsewhere?

it's not "worth" $60.

Very little to do, unpolished game, online and gameplay in general needs a bit more work.

Interesting stage mashups, roster is a bit of a disappointment.

Very little to do? What else do you expect to do in a fighting game?

Considering I've been playing Blazblue, Persona 4: Arena, and Mortal Kombat, that's a fairly good point.

Your best bet is to read reviews and see if it is something you would enjoy.

I was in the beta and thought the game was awful. It's not my cup of tea but you might like it.

I tend to avoid fighting games for the lack of content(MVC3). But some fighters have made a lot of content in their games and are worth the price. I'm not even asking a lot, just a lot of options and modes.

Blazblue a game whose sequel realized "oh we didn't add much so lets not just cash out and be cheap about it and charge 44.99".

That and no online pass either, SSBB also has a crap ton to do, Street fighter games are a bit in between, Tekken IIRC has a lot to do.

I'm no fighting game expert, but I can tell when I game is rushed. I even obtained what is probably the easiest platinum on PS3(PS all stars), and I'm disappointed they couldn't even make the trophies challenging as well as the AI.

If you like fighting games and digging through the depth of the mechanics, you will spend an incredible amount of hours in PlayStation All-Stars. It's a great game

Ya for 60$ its not a good purchase. Just wait for deals before you consider thinking about this game.

I enjoyed it but its not a "OMG" type of game to make me jump on a purchase.
