As long as it was hardware-based. If it was software-based, they'd be more likely to take it away with a firmware upgrade.

I don't want to trade in my PS3 until I know for sure that the PS4's bugs were worked out. I did the same thing with the PS3 and waited to get a slim.

Trade it outright? Like even trade? Hell Yes. Trade in + $400? Hell no.

The only way I would buy a PS4 is if it had PS2 and/or PS3 BC. It takes years to develop a decent game library and I would want something to play while I'm waiting for games to arrive on PS4. The ability to play as many games in my library as possible is very important to me and one of the main reasons I bought my 60GB. If it wasn't for PS2 BC I would almost definitely have bought a 360.

That. Like those times they removed the usb ports and PS2 BC via firmware upgrade.

Looking at Sony's track record of removing features in both hardware and software revisions, I feel justified saying that.
