There is so much happening inside the console that you seem to ignore. Ps3 CPU>360 CPU where as 360 GPU> PS3 GPU, one compensates for the other in both cases. This is why fps and textures is an issue in more PS3 games than in the 360. Both consoles are identical in power. Have you ever looked at the inside of the PS3? The thing runs on 256 MB RAM, which is laughable. The mere fact that Ground Zero is gonna be multiplatform is proof enough that both consoles are exactly the same s***.

This is exactly why I demand that all my consoles have blast processing.

Is laughable how 256mb RAM can run Killzone , Uncharted, God of War, Heavy Rain and all those powerful Ps3 exclusives right?

Hitman Absolution

PS3 18GB
360 9 GB

Just because a game uses alot on the PS3, doesn't automatically mean it will on the 360.

^^ This.

All of this has been debated to death in the past, folks. The main reason why MGS4 was so large on PS3 is because it was uncompressed and they had the space to spread everything out.

It is completely insane to think that this game couldn't run just as well, if not better, on the 360.....and on a relatively small number of disks.

Or are we going to rehash the hilarious "Disk changes are a huge deal!!!!!!" debate again??

Yeah it's possible but the developers were stupid and thought multiple discs were better. You outsmarted all of them.

Actually, MGS4 was released at a time when Sony was trying to get devs to show off the storage capacity of Blu Ray.

So just because the game was so huge in data size, it certainly doesn't mean that it HAD to be in order to run just as well.
