so you support the graphical development spike as well as the lagging content development?


i still believe that's how this generation is going... though recently it's gotten better (the content development side) but not enough to catch up with the graphical development spike....

People that are voting 100% graphics and 0% content are the type of people that would buy The Bouncer (PS) for full price. I picked that game up from a discount bin for $1 and felt ripped off by how little there was to that game. It was all flash and nothing more.

And this is why today's gaming industry is where it is.

Anyway, I think graphics are important, sure, but they shouldn't take priority in development. The developers should focus on the content first, and graphics later, when they make sure that the content is good. I'll never buy a game just because it looks pretty, but I sure as hell will buy it just because it's fun to play and has awesome content. Even if it looks like garbage by today's standards.

for a 1P game it was decent. it was done in the format of a movie. the content wasn't lacking either...

(PS2 right? not PS)

did this gen suffer from too much focus on graphics and not enough focus on content? (at least nowhere near the level of development from ps2)
