In Mortal Kombat games, I always do Very Easy because I suck at fighting games. In Guitar Hero/Rock Band games, I always play on Expert for Guitar and Bass but I may play Drums on Hard, Expert, or Expert+ and Vocals on any difficulty depending how hard the vocals are (I'm not good at singing).

However, these days I find myself starting on hard all the time without problems. These days, games are piss-easy after all. |

If I find the gameplay lacking and just want to experience the game for other reasons (story etc) medium/normal......or even possibly hard still......just depends on the game.
