Does your created ME2 or ME3 character get imported into ME (PSN)?

#1carib2gPosted 12/4/2012 9:22:56 AM(edited)
I own, and have beat both ME2 and ME3. I plan on getting ME(PSN) when it's available later today.

Will I be able to import my character that was created and used so far? I certainly hope so ;-/

Or is there some other way that previous save data is utilizied?

Any information is appreciated.

I'm not quite sure why you think that would be possible. It's not a time-travel game where you travel into the past.

no. it only goes forwards ME to ME 2 to ME 3. not backwards.

im not sure developers wouldve known at the time how many ME's they were making as well. I mean would they have expected a 4th to be compatible for import already?

I would think it would be "possible" since it's a VIDEO GAME and not real life.

It doesn't seem that far fetched to allow PS3 owners, who didn't have the opportunity to play it in the "correct order" to preserve the character that they spent hours creating.

Is this really such a difficult idea to grasp? Smh.

The whole point of Mass Effect's beginning, is to get started.

You want to import characters with skills that don't even exist in the first game.

Your comment is pretty stupid, i'm sorry to say

I don't mean the skills. I mean the "looks" of the character, the sex and class....I wouldn't expect the skill trees to be the same.

I really appreciate your opinion.

Whats the point of importing a character who journey'd through the entire game at the first game? He'd have skills that never existed, armor that never existed ect in the first game.

Also it's just the beginning of his adventure, really the most I could see the game allowing you to transfer is...his looks nothing else. Not even armor or equipment just his appearance.

No, it doesn't.
But your ME1 created character can carry over into ME2 and ME3.
