I am going to watch my first Studio Ghibli movie. What do you suggest.

I'm leaning towards Princess Mononoke.

Totoro, spirted away or howl's moving castle.

Ponyo is also okay.

Nausicaa and Castle in the Sky are good as well, but Princess Mononoke is Miyazaki's most mature, and arguably, his best work.

You can't go wrong with any of them really. My favorite Miyazaki films are Castle in the Sky and Spirited Away. If you're interested in a Studio Ghibli movie not directed by Miyazaki, then try Grave of the Fireflies. You'll probably be depressed for the rest of the day, but it's worth it.

Everyone mentioned so far is amazing. My favorite is still Howl's Moving Castle though.
*SPOILERS*----Mario dies!!!

This movie needs a commercial or a trailer in movie theaters. NamcoBandai's stubborness is limiting them in a blockbuster game, because it has mass appeal that could sell well over a million copies.
