I have had a PS3 before (two different ones actually). I want another one to play the Sony exclusives since they are my favorites. I plan on getting an Orbis at launch, but I wanna play the games now. What should I do?

The Wii U is awesome. Looking forward to adding the Durango and Orbis to my collection in a year or so. All three companies are awesome.

I'd buy a WiiU, but if you want a sony console wait for the omni.

Please, stop calling it those stupid names and call it the PS4 until it is revealed to be otherwise.

There's no telling what the price of the PS4 will be. Plus it won't have a lot of good games until 3-5 years into its lifespan. The PS3 is mostly cheap and it already have an establish library. Not to mention the early PS4s could have issues like DRE or YLOD.

It's up to you. Does the pros outweigh the cons?

PS4 comes out at best next holiday season (november or december) for probably $350-$500. PS3 can be had for around $200-$300 and has a substantial game collection. You would lose out on most of the PS3 games if you waited for PS4 as there is no planned backwards comparability IIRC, and there are some great games out for PS3 currently and upcoming next year

It won't be called the PS4. That is a well known fact. 4 is shi or death in Japanese. They don't use the number for anything.

I already have a Wii U. It is awesome, but I wanna play my Sony games.

I may just go with the PS3 now. That way, I can pick up an Orbis/Omni when all the bugs have been worked out.

Get the PS3, there is no guarantee the next system will have backwards compatibility so you might miss out on all the great games from this gen.
