Yes, I know, we got extremely interesting titles in 2013 like Ni No Kuni, Tales of Xillia, MGS: Ground Zeroes and GTA V, but remember in the end of 2011, just one year ago?
Back then, people were incredibly hyped about the upcoming year. People talked and talked about Resident Evil 6, AC 3, Max Payne 3 and Mass Effect 3. Who would have known that so many AAA-titles failed to live up to our expectations?
Maybe we should change our expectations a bit. I'm not saying 2013 will fail, it will probably be very good, but when a game like Resident Evil 6 or Mass Effect 3 can disappoint, then every game can disappoint (I don't believe the ending was the only bad thing about ME3. It also didn't have many plot-twists, or as beautiful a dialogue/user-change system. Didn't feel I could change the story that much).
I've also got Sly Cooper 4, Bioshock Infinite, FFXIV: ARR, The Last of Us, Beyond: Two Souls, Puppeteer and others in 2013, not to mention things that may get announced for localization, so it won't be a disappointment to me.
Neither was 2012, but I had Xenoblade, Tales of Graces f, The Last Story, Dishonored, Sleeping Dogs, P4G, KH3D, Borderlands 2 and others.
