lol you ever play megaman 2?

I'm not saying that Megaman games haven't had rooftops areas before, but you can't deny that it's also just like the Marvel intro and Capcom showed this to a bunch of fighting game fanatics, most of whom probably aren't even Megaman fans. The natural assumption from them is going to be that it's a build-up to a Marvel reveal. It was silly of them to play with their fans like that.

The only reason this game exists is because it's fan-made and because it helps promote SF even more. If SF wasn't in it then Capcom wouldn't give a crap, on the count of them neglecting what their Megaman fans want.

I haven't seen the new video but come on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8Ao63nmzuE

Dude, it's the exact opening from Megaman 2. Same music, same building. Same Megaman on the roof with his helmet off. They aren't being "trolling tools" just because you don't know anything about classic MM games, and thought one of most iconic MM scenes from the 8-bit era was a scene from the rooftops in the opening of MvC3.

Before you shoot your mouth off make sure your brains are loaded.

And all of that is moot because they revealed this during the SF 25th Anniversary tournament. I doubt the majority of those guys have even touched a Megaman game, but Capcom still revealed it to them first because they somehow believed that they'd all be interested just because it has Street Fighter characters, but the first conclusion to the average fighting game player is "MvC3!?!?". I mean did you even watch that tournament? Practically everyone in the stream chat were going crazy until we all just figured out it's only a Megaman game.

Capcom were just plain trolling. Even when Svensson came on stage to hype up the reveal, he made it sound as if it was a big enough of a deal to be a new fighting game. That's what most people were expecting and tuning in for. If they wanted fans to comprehend that intro properly then why didn't they reveal the the actual Megaman Anniversary event where everyone is guaranteed to be a Megaman fan?

I never said it was. Capcom did probably put the trailer together I assume. I'm just saying it's incredibly obvious it's a homage to MM2.
