I think it's a waste of time until: 1. It gets some worthwhile non-Mario or Zelda, non-port or non-Multiplatform games, preferably JRPGs. 2. The region lock gets removed or someone makes a easy workaround for it. 3. Price to around 199$-230$

Nah I moved on. I only play consoles from time to time since I am stuck in front of my PC since I got one. I fired up my console last night because I felt like shooting some people and riding a horse so I played RDR.
Scribblenauts was pretty tempting for the wiiu but I got it for $49 on PC so I saved a lot of money

wii u is a msterpiece it already has more triple a exclusives then ps3 and ps vita combined like New Super Mario Bros. U, ZombiU, Nintendo Land, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, Batman: Arkham City - Armored Edition, Sing Party, Mass Effect 3: Special Edition, Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Wii U Edition, Game Party Champions, Rabbids Land etc etc etc
Right now it's still in its infant phase, so there's not much exclusives, still some little problems with the device (not being able to turn off the screen on the tablet-controller!).
But those problems will probably (if not hopefully) be fixed by some time. Once they'll be getting their exclusives (Zelda, Mario, Mario Kart, etc.) I think it's gonna be a pretty nice console really, I'll probably even get one myself by that time.
Yet, as of now, it doesn't interest me much since there isn't too much content to warrant a purchase.
