So, how does the typical PS3 gamer see the WiiU?

Nintendo doesn't get the 3rd party games it needs to have to convince me the WiiU is worth the purchase. I'm not talking CoD either ... The PS3 has a well rounded RPG library for those who aren't picky, and there are games only Sony gets that keep me coming back.

That said, i'm sure the console will do itself proud as long as the 1st party games keep rocking.

There are lots of games it plays that the PS3 does not. The value of that software will vary depending on the user. I'll probably get one when Plat's games come out for it.
I've seen the future, baby: it is murder

The Pii U is a steaming pile of crap, just like it's predecessor.

It boils down to exclusives. Regardless of what you think of the WiiU's hardware, it's still going to have Nintendo exclusives, and that's enough to sell me on it.

I see it as a console that is about five years too late and still offers crappy motion controllers (meaning it shouldn't even have motion controls). I think if you have a ps3, 360 or decent gaming pc there is no reason to buy one at least right now. It might be worth getting in three years or so when it drops in price and if it has a bunch of exclusives that you want.

Why would I buy something that plays games for a system...I...already...own? And I've started to care less and less about their first party games every since the N64.

Wii U just look like a big ass gamegear that can wireless connect to the wii. The only game that will utilize the full potential of the console are games directly from nintendo, AKA : Zelda,Mario,Pokemon?

Good thing the Pii U doesn't exist.
Mega Man Powered Up is the best PSP exclusive and you know it.
