Persona 3 FES suddenly moving faster?

Yes, weird topic, but it seemed like the best place to ask about it since the board is mostly dead and it may have something to do with the options/hardware. Anyway, I turned off the game earlier fine and dandy and went to work. Now I'm playing it again, and all the animations seem significantly faster. Voices and music play at the right speed, but everything else just seems to be moving faster. I thought I may have just been imagining it until I went into Shuffle Time and the cards were moving at the speed of light. Yes, I know they get really fast, but this was downright obnoxious. I didn't touch any of the options, so what could the problem be? It's not really nice to be playing a game at what seems to be 1.5x - 2x speed.

turn your 120 hz off in the settings for your HDTV.

You're welcome.

Hm, how would I do that? Sorry, my father must've done something to the tv while I was at work, I've never really delved into the settings. Unless it's different for every tv, in which case I'll have to find out for myself.

You can't turn off the refresh rate of a tv. You can only disable the frame interpolation methods they use.

If this is the cause it would be in advanced settings.

Different manufacturers have different names for it. Samsung calls it AMP (Auto Motion Plus), Sony calls it Motionflow. LG calls it Tru-Motion, so on and so on.
