Also, I was totally stoked on myself when I beat Dark Souls, but not because of the ending, just the feeling of satisfaction. The ending itself was lame and could barely be called as such.

Oh yeah that was pretty good. I like how it ended happily, but you still get a sense that there will be more threats to be dealt with.
